Injectables
Cosmetic injectables are treatments designed to improve and enhance your appearance. There are many different kinds of cosmetic injectables, and we can customize a treatment plan that’s right for you.
Some products can smooth the wrinkles that have formed as a result of repetitive dynamic muscular movements on the upper half of your face. Others can also restore volume to different areas of the lower half of your face and even eliminate stubborn fat that creates a double chin. Regardless of your goals, we can meet all of your aesthetic goals in a quick yet effective treatment.
There are many Neuromodulators (muscle relaxers) on the market today. They include: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau and Daxxify. They all essentially do the same thing, which is to prevent the muscle movement and smooth out the skin.  They are designed to smooth expression lines that form on the upper half of the face. They work by relaxing the muscles responsible for dynamic movements, which lead to dynamic wrinkles as your skin’s structure begins to weaken as you age.
When injected into the muscles in the upper half of the face, Neuromodulators relax those muscles and temporarily block the communication between the nerve signals and the muscle. Within a few weeks of your treatment, you’ll begin to notice that your lines and wrinkles are softening and, in some cases, may temporarily disappear altogether.
Lines, wrinkles and volume loss are all caused by the aging process. These signs of aging can be attributed to intrinsic and extrinsic factors. One of the biggest intrinsic causes is loss of Hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is important in our skin to help it stretch and flex. We start losing HA in our mid 20's and by age 50 we only have about 50% of our natural HA left. Dermal fillers are made of Hyaluronic acid and are used to add natural volume to the face. At Revive we use Dermal fillers in different areas of the face to produce a more natural, youthful and refreshed look.
Dermal fillers are also a great way to treat laxity in other areas of the body. Hands are an area that can really show our true age and are often forgotten. "Tech neck" are those lines we get from being on our phones or computers a lot. Filler can also be injected into to buttock area to help lift and add volume to create a more rounded appearance.
Treatment takes about one hour, depending on area or areas treatment. There is minimal downtime and results are often immediate. So you will look lifted and more youthful when you leave our office.
If you suffer from a double chin, we have a treatment that can help eliminate those stubborn fat cells for good. We offer Kybella, an FDA-approved injectable that contains an active ingredient called deoxycholic acid that works by breaking down fat cells.
Once the fat cells are broken down, the body eliminates them naturally over the course of several months. You will achieve gradual results, but the benefit is, those results will be permanent. Once the body eliminates those fat cells, they can’t come back.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Most patients need two to four treatments to achieve the best results. We’ll design a customized treatment plan for your needs once we evaluate your area of concern in person.
Treatment takes about 30 minutes for most people. There is some downtime with Kybella injection, however, the benefit of permanent fat reduction is well worth it.
